NVR emails functioning, camera emails are not

As the title said, i easily setup events to be emailed to me via the NVR. Id like my cameras to do this instead (5231s), and i filled out the fields exactley the same, however, I get failed email tests.

Anyone have any guidance?

check gateway field on your camera

make sure you put a valid gateway on the tcp/ip tab on the network section
