I’ve got a couple of G6 PTZs on order, mainly for the pan/tilt function since the zoom on these is just okay according to reviews.
What I really need is something closer to Ubiquiti’s PTZ Industrial or Precision models, but I’m guessing those are going to be priced pretty high. That’s why I picked up an AI port to try running third-party cameras, although I haven’t seen many people online using it with aftermarket PTZs.
Ideally, I’m looking for a camera with a 1/1.2" 8MP sensor and at least 25x zoom.

It’s on sale in Canada right now for $794 CAD (regular price $1,096.99). It only has a 4MP 1/2.8" sensor, but still seems pretty solid. And the price is way more reasonable compared to what Ubiquiti is charging.
