This came across my feed today. A PoE doorbell I haven't see before called VUE Doorbell

Not bad!
I like that one unit can be POE or dual band Wi-Fi.
I also like that it will work with a mechanical doorbell and is ONVIF-compliant.
But $335 at one place? OUCH!

I agree it's pricey but if PoE can do network and we can hook into button press event then I may be interested. If it anything like Reolink PoE doorbell then give it a year and price will drop to 80 ish dollar

Says "Compatible with monitoring centre video verfication". I take that as meaning it's optional.
Strangest spec is it's CE certified which implies EU supply but sales appear restricted to US and Canada atm by the looks of it.
