New Lorex (Black) W881AADB-E not compatible with 5GHz network.

Just set up a new W881AADB-E and the Lorex Classic app and it indeed won't join our 5 GHz network.

A two year old white Lorex joining the same network, does show 5GHz in the router interface.

This is important because the White (W881AAD-E) does support and connect to 5 GHz, verified through the router interface.

Found the answer. The way to have the Lorex join the 5G network is to set up the camera while on your 5G network. We were on our 2.4 network.
