Just set up a new W881AADB-E and the Lorex Classic app and it indeed won't join our 5 GHz network.
A two year old white Lorex joining the same network, does show 5GHz in the router interface. Why did Lorex remove 5GHz compatibility in this newer (black) model?
This is important because the White (W881AAD-E) does support and connect to 5 GHz, verified through the router interface.
