New 2026 12MP & 16MP Hikvision Turret Cameras

I've seen on various UK CCTV sites they're now stocking some 12MP and 16MP turret and bullet cameras.

Has anyone tested these or know of any video reviews, specifically for the turret cams?

It's seems these are single sensor, not two streams stitched together, so would be interested to see their performance compared to the 1.2" sensor 8MP versions.

Sorry, I made a mistake on the 18MP, I meant 16MP, but yeah, they seem to be 1/1.8"

I'll have couple. Easily resolved by lowering the resolution output to 4 MP for an ideal ratio for the 1/1.8 sensor.
I'll get them whilst I'm out food shopping and report back.

Even if they worked well, I couldn't afford a video monitor that goes to 12 - 16MP. Unbelievable these would even exist.

Works great at daytime for specific stuff, for example loading areas to digitally zoom on packages when watching playback.

Nighttime is not a strong side.

Acuseek doesnt work on them yet, only 8mp models.

Other than that i have been said 1/1.2 sensoz size will be launched on G4 series 2027 Q3
