Network Disconnect error then frozen cam

I have 4 stand alone DS2CD2432F-IW cams tied to routers through power injectors, all ran fine with 5.2.3 141024. Did 3 updates:
5.3.0 150513
5.4.41 170312
5.4.5 170123
Now they'll run a few hours to a couple days until they are unreachable, check the log and there was a Network Disconnect and no other log until power gets reset. Also stops recording, basically locked up. I have uploaded 5.4.0 160530 into 1 of them and it took it, will monitor it for awhile to see how it reacts.
Note - These are not connected to NVR, using onboard flash memory for storage.
Hoping version 5.5.0 corrects this, haven't seen anything newer than 5.4.5 to date.
 
Update - Configuring the Wi-Fi on the cam so it could marry to router seems to have eliminated the problem even though the Ethernet cable was connected to same router. This series of camera must now be expecting to see both networks up and running to not fault out and freeze up.

Also, it seems connecting to an NVR also fixes the issue without the Wi-Fi configuring. In either case nothing logs into Hikconnect communist site.
