I recently moved into a rental house that came with an existing security camera system. The landlord told me the system was left behind and is mine to use, but nobody knows the login credentials.
The DVR is a Q-See QTH85 running Firmware N9000 1.0.3. It has a 2TB hard drive installed and appears to have 8 analog cameras connected.
When I attempt password recovery, I get a “Retrieve Password” screen with a “Dynamic Password” option. I do not have the original admin password, security questions, or any paperwork from the previous owner.
have full physical access to the recorder and can open the case if needed. If anyone has experience with this model or knows whether it shares hardware with another OEM DVR, I’d appreciate any guidance.
