Modern Dahua NVRs

My old Dahua NVR4208-8P-4KS2, is really starting to show it's age with cameras recording but not playing live on screen unless selected. So I was looking to replace it with a more up to date box.

Planning to stay with Dahua either the NVR4208-8P-EI or the 5 series if I can find a good price. I like the Dahua kit as it has worked well in the past and their Android App still seems to be the most reliable I found.

So a couple of questions:
Do the new units work with modern browsers or do they still call out for Internet Explorer and ActiveX?

Does anyone know a UK supplier?
All the ones I find online state 'trade only' and don't show prices unless you are registered. Not sure who they are trading to as no one seems to be selling them.
Otherwise, it's going to be back to AliExpress again.

The new ones work with most browsers, there may be few functions where it still likes IE or the plugin, but you wont likely notice (Only place I see it is in Playback where a few controls to download clips are missing without it. I use SmartPSS Lite to monitor and download anyway 99,9999% of the time. Much better experience.)
