I'm considering getting one of these for my driveway. Lens 1 would cover up close to the garage, lens 2 the mailbox, lens 3 the t-intersection I have for people/cars, just being able to review footage for color/time etc...

Height of install would be about 10 feet, so good on that. Covering garage door would be 0-15 feet out. Mailbox is approximately 40 feet, and t-intersection road and sidewalk between 80-100 feet.
I would most likely keep it in color 24/7, unless you can independently control color/IR on each lens?

Very tempting.

I just got this camera up and running and so far I am very pleased with it. The primary purpose was to keep an eye on our 'cluster' type mailbox. Apparently, someone has a master key, and several in our area have been found open with all the mail missing.

I live just past a 90-degree turn in the road and we have a good-sized tree in the front yard that is about 160' (Google Earth Pro) from the mailbox. As you can see by the 'birdhouse' photo, the lighting half of the camera is completely covered up.

(The artifacts at night on the close-up lens are due to a landscape light that shines up in the tree and is only a couple of feet in front of it. I will have do something with it)

Very pleased with the performance - this is from last night. (Only lighting is from the streetlights, the camera emitters are blocked) Turns out I think that is one of the neighbor kids in the back and there wasn't enough room inside the truck

There's too much gain in that picture. You can see from the lack of definition in the faces and the noise. So probable best setting for good facial capture would be a lot darker which then brings it's own issues. It probably does the job as you could probably identify them from that picture, but for me, I'd like more definition, especially as a still capture is usually a big downgrade from the video performance which may then hinder the latter for LE. Overall though, as a 3 in 1 camera, it's pretty good. You're going to get some compromise somewhere.

it's not a good video...

static image is OK due 3D NR, but moving objects are noisy and lack of details in B/W..

It's clear they saved money on sensors, the specifications don't even state that these are STARVIS sensors....

This multi-lens good for some project, and not suit for all end users.

Any ideas on what to check for?

No rain here for quite sometime, and the connections were wrapped with silicone tape and protected inside the bird house.

Heat is a thought it was confined in the bird house and the back was open, and it is getting a little warmer.

I pulled out an old Hikvision DS-2CD2042 from around 2017 - still works fine, I guess I will use that for now until I figure out what to do

Doesn't need rain - simple thermodynamics at work with air heating and cooling and condensing over the year.

Dielectric grease is a must.

Deoxit does wonders in situations like this where you don't see corrosion, but there is.
