I have a HIK NVR DS-7716NI-I4/16P which i'm looking to setup with a bunch of POE cameras.
The problem I have is that this NVR is loud lol!
I have changed the PSU fan with an quite aftermarket fan but it dosnt seem to make much of a difference.
I'm thinking of swapping the NVR and getting a NON POE version like DS-7732NI-K4 (NON POE)
My thoughts are to buy a HP 24 Port POE Switch - J9983A (which is fanless).
I wanted to ask does anyone have experience with NON POE NVR's - it looks like they have a standard power supply which will make the units much quiter and I could hopfully swap out the small internal fan for somthing more quite.
