Looking to choose low-profile indoor cameras in a flat

I'm planning a flat renovation and home monitoring came up. Goals: motion detection near windows, front door; sound detection of gas/water leak sensors, ability to check and record footage should I ever hire cleaners or on vacation;
Initially I thought about putting motion detectors with a discrete camera, something like Bosch 940C, however seems such types of cameras are impossible to get any longer. I'd have to buy of aliexpress and hope it's not complete garbage. On the plus side they're very unobtrusive, and with blue iris capturing everything maybe there wouldnt be much trouble. For sound capture i'd revert to using a dedicated sensor, maybe ubiquity.

An alternative idea is to buy a fisheye camera, something like IPC-EW5541-AS, which doesn't look much like a camera until you see the lens. It has great sensors, 360 coverage, sound detection but obviously identifiable as a camera up-closer.

So the questions are:
1) can I get something in a form-factor of a pir motion detector, with capabilities of modern cameras;
2) if not, is there anyway to make the lens invisible, i.e. heavily tinted protector or so (no DIY);
3) What do you think about IPC-EW5541-AS - is it a good camera or can you recommend any better models, with the biggest pro being is that it wouldn't look like a traditional camera;

I also found
  • ajax camera that looks like a pir motion detector, but the camera there is for pictures only.
  • axis pinhole camera, but it'd still be visible on white walls and PITA to service when it breaks.

I'd have 4-5 of those.
