IVS Global, does anyone configure this??

So I'm not exactly sure how this feature works but from the settings available ( width verification and height verification ) I can assume it helps the NVR to turn what it sees as a static flat image into something with some dimension? What then does it do with this information.. I have yet to set it up and would like more information about this from some of you more seasoned users. Google "IVS Global dahua nvr" gave me zero information.

I have several dahua cams w/ IVS. I've never seen a screen like that, either in the NVR, or in the cam's webUI.
No "calibration", height of width stuff at all.

Sorry, the setting is in the NVR NVR5216-4KS2(I should have mentioned that if I didn't). If you click on IVS on the right hand pain it should open up a preview window of said cam, above that should be two tabs, one of which says Global. It appears it got cut out of the screen cap.
 
The "Global" tab is a new thing I've never seen before.
 
Hmm, it looks like it could be useful. Someone has to know what it does lol
