Hi guys i dont know if anyone here use the ivs to analog system so he can help me. I know the ivs on dahua hdcvi system is not very good but i set up some rules to a client to an outdoor cameras for intrusion. The problem is that at day is working ok with not false alarm but at night every time a car pass from the road and the light from the car hits the camera it send me false alarm so the bucks. I get araound 15 false alarm every night. Anyone has an idea hiw to reduce these false alarm? The other problem is that i set the filter bigger than a cat so not to trigger the alarm but every time a cat pass the rule it trigger the alarm.

I have pretty good luck with a zig-zag line. Intrusion boxes get more false alerts.
That said, IVS on CVI is not as good as on IP cameras as far as false alerts.
