I am pretty sure that when you say recording sensitivity you actually are asking how to make the camera more sensitive to motion. First question is are you using AI (artificial Intelligence) or just the regular motion setting in BI. If you are just using BI motion then it is all controlled by the settings for the camera on the "Motion/Trigger" tab, the first thing I would suggest is to look in the help for that screen, it does a pretty good job of explaining all of the settings, and I don't feel much like just cutting and pasting it here, there are more setting when you click the "Configure" button on the same tab and it also has a help button that does explain the basics of each setting. Getting this all setup is going to be highly dependent on the field of view of your camera and there are not really any universal setting that work for everybody other that what they default to when you setup a new camera.
