In praise of my Dahua camera!

I've got a SD49225T-HN mounted on a roof above the beach, facing into all the oncoming weather with frequent 60 mph winds, and the thing is still rock solid after a couple of years. Amazing.






(Excuse the ghetto mounting job, ha. It's slightly tidier now.)

That point in the distance is almost 2 miles away and it shot these videos in the last couple of weeks:





I now have 2 of these cameras exposed to the elements and both are rock solid. Impressive.

At 0:57 in the first video I really did not think that they would come out of that wave at all.

Ridiculous thing is closer to the camera to the right of the boat there's a rip with a nice area of flat water. Looks a bit of a big day to be going out. Worst thing is yet to happen - coming back in a following sea. Luckily it looks like a long period swell.
