illustra ip cam

i have different illustra ip cam with the latest software and a hikvision nvr 7204 nxi 4p
set the illustra onvif and the hikv.nvr. see the illustra cameras in the nvr
but only set for continu record
i cannot set/see motion detetion in the nvr.
i set this in the illustra motion on and in the nvr motion on but no reaction when there is motion
what to do whit this settings ?

Do the events show in the NVR log?
In the NVR event configuration, do you have 'Notify Surveillance Centre' ticked in the 'Linkage Method' tab?
Have you tried querying for motion events using the iVMS-4200 Windows app? (depends on the above)
It's ages since I've seen any Hikvision NVR firmware that places event marks on a continuous recording line.
But I must admit I've not studied the NXI series much.
