If anyone needs a cheap, but good quality compact dome IP Camera, I present to you the $30 Hikvision DS-2CD2523G0-IS

Works perfectly with Blue Iris and HikCentral Lite
The 2MP model is technically discontinued with the latest firmware being released in 2023 - but it is not really all that old, it is a legitimate product available at the Amazon link below
Retail price exceeds $200 and used to be available on B&H's website before they made the switch over to NDAA-compliant cameras only (the whole NDAA thing is total nonsense)
My suspicion is that many distributors had excess stock and resellers have purchased them in pallets to clear them out at a significantly lower cost
Anyone new to CCTV systems can comfortably get started with a 4-8 of these cameras to get a genuine feel of what a true CCTV setup is like versus consumer junk like Ring, Arlo, Nest, etc - arguably, these cameras are even better than Reolink's current offering despite being compact domes

I guess it might be useful in smaller spaces, as well as perhaps an overview camera of sorts?

I'm not sure if for overview purposes this would suffice as it is 4mm focal length; a 2.8mm focal length is generally suited as an overview camera

This model would be better as an overview camera, but the sensor size is lackluster -
