How to Adjust the screens in GUI

This is embarrassing - But how do i adjust the size of the screens in BI Gui?

I know you go to "edit layout" and you can drag and drop. I have unused gray bars/Areas around the cameras (never had before) . I am currently using the Quick 1-up layout. How does the GUI "box" size itself? I used to be able to resize The Clip box also by dragging the sides, top, and make it skinnier.

Take a look in the help file, the section on Camera Window UI and the Screen layout and frames and see if it provides any useful info, I just read it over and discovered a few things that I did not know! the section in the Camera Window UI about zooming the window while in layout edit mode is quite interesting as I did not know about that feature!

Also while in edit mode if you right click you will see a dialog, take a look at the aspect and height menu items, it may provide some useful options for you, especially the scale to fill item!
