I'm currently using a BlueIris install with a couple of Foscam IP cameras. It works fine but due to the poor HP Homeserver running pegged at 100% CPU and wanting more cameras, it's probably time to upgrade.
One function I like in BlueIris is the ability to have the motion detection triggers script on the local machine. This in turn calls a URL hosted on the same machine that plays a doorbell WAV file through all the Sonos in the house.
So my question is, is there a way for a motion detection event on a Hikvision (or similar) NVR to call a URL or an API event? I see they have 'send an email' but I want something sturdier.
Thanks in advance
