Hikvision NVR with hikvision cameras cutting out

HI

I have a hikvision DS-7608 and 4 Hikvision 2CD2085G1 4k POE cameras and one foscam running via ONVIF.

I have a problem with one of the Hikvision cameras, it keeps cutting out. The thing is I don't think it's a power issue because the camera that over seeing the back door is much longer and it runs fine.
Now I suspect it's the philex junction box I used to join two cables together because I ran out of cable. It did say it was cat5e rated however

Has anyone else successfully ran a cable run with a junction box and still had their camera working?

If so could you recommend a junction box I can use?

Or shall I just replace the entire run?

Any advise will be much appreciated
 
Yeah.

sorry wasn't thinking straight.
I did try that before I posted and it did the same thing.

After I made this post I had a very ovious solution, swap with one of the camera I know is working then plug into the same port as the camera I swap it with.
That told me there is nothing wrong with the cable. I'm professional;)

The funny thing is I reset the supposedly faulty cam to factory settings then recommissioned it and now it works fine. WTF
