Hikvision NVR issues

Ive had my hikvision NVR installed for about 7 years with no issues.

Four ethernet cameras connected

I cant seem to get connected to it. It only has an ethernet port, no wifi and is located in a small wiring closet connected to a ethernet switch

Ive removed it from my wiring closet and tried different room in house but still the same. Ethernet directly into router this time

Also taken off top cover to check for anything untoward

Is there a way to test the ethernet port as thats the only thing i can think of.

If it can't be repaired what would be a good upgrade that will be compatible with my POE cameras and 3.5 inch hard drive

If the router ethernet ports have status LEDs for the cables that are connected to it - do they show for the NVR cable?

Does SADP find the NVR? If so - does the found IP address match what you believe it should be?

SADP will find Hikvision devices even if they are on a different network segment from the PC its running on.

Yea, i should have noticed no blinking light at my NVR ethernet port. Its buried in a patch panel so hard to see.

SADP not showing any devices.

Is this a common fault with these boxes, could something have fell through the top cover and shorted the port maybe.

Im looking at the 7604-nxi, seems to be the best model.

But would prefer to make an attempt at repair if at all possible
