I have a EASR326 NVR with several alarm input connectors, and Ive been having an issue with the Alarm events triggering and starting fine, but then after like 15-20 seconds they end, even though the input wire hasn't changed physically.
To diagnose this issue to the simplest level, Ive currently got a wire going from Alarm input #5 and the other end going to a ground. Ive tried this with multiple wires and a different input pin slot, but still I get this in IMVS4200:
So when I connect the wire in a closed connected circuit, it triggers the alarm event(great). But even tho I haven't disconnected it, it will constantly trigger an End event, followed by another start event and so on. Shouldn't the event just be started and then only do the End after I actually cut the circuit?
To test further, I set the alarm input config to be Normally Closed, and then cut the wire circuit, but it behaves the exact same. Its not even consistent, its like random times between these Start End events. Am I missing something obvious here
