Hi.
Ive got my new NVR and faced with a problem. NVR dont want to read intrusion detection zone from the camera. Ive updated camera firmware to have Polygon shape areas to use in motion and intrusion detection but NVR dont want to use polygon shape in intrusion but does on motion zone. If im draw on cam interface NVR completely ignores it, not taking the area settings from the cam. But on NVR I can draw square only which appears on camera web interface as expected (on nvr local and web interface, same problem, not allows me to draw polygon).
First time It didnt want to use polygon shape in motion detection but I draw on camera, and restarted the NVR and finally Ive got polygon on motion detection. Same method did not work with intrusion.
NVR: DS-7608NXI-K1/8P(D) on V4.84.035 built 250723Camera is DS-2CD2347G2-LU on V5.7.13 build 230504

A slight long shot - but what browser are you using?
That can make a difference in what can be configured in the NVR and camera web GUI.

If it's purely Edge, try enabling 'Internet Explorer mode' in the settings.
If you've already done that , try with native Internet Explorer for the browser, after downloading and installing the ActiveX control as prompted.

While newer cameras are supposed to work with other browsers and not need the plug-in nonsense, keep in mind to ensure full compatibility, IE is still preferred. And this isn't specific to just Dahua either. And sometimes the plug-in nonsense is needed.

It comes down to IE was the most popular browser when these cameras started to be made, so they centered the firmware around one particular browser and they got lazy and never updated the internals of the program to play nice with other browsers as more became available and IE started to fade.

Its working on motion detection I can draw polygon on NVR web GUI, But no polygon on intrusion. Same on any of my browsers even with the fresh install of plugin from the NVR web GUI, and as I mentioned I can draw on camera web GUI at motion and intrusion but NVR just ignores intrusion polygon, but take over motion polygon without any problem. Nvr local interface also not allows me to draw polygon at intrusion, but allows to draw at motion detection. It looks like the NVR does not know about the the camera's polygon capability at intrusion detection.
