Hikvision DS-7600 with encoder

Hello,

I've received a ton of info from this forum, thanks for all the help already!

I'm trying to use an Axis M7014 encoder with a Hik DS-7617NI-E2 and having some issues. Has anyone successfully done this?

I'm connecting the encoder to the built-in PoE switch. I'm able to connect the channel 1 but if I attempt to connect to any other channels i get a "Channel No error". I've tried using bot the Axis protocol and Onvif. I can get an image on either for ch1 but unable to access ch2-4 using either.

Anybody know a trick to get this to work?

You do NOT have to use one of the POE ports on the NVR, since each POE port is only for one channel. You have to connect the encoder on your network.
