Hikvision DS--2CD3345P1-l

Hi guy,

I've just got myself a Hikvision DS--2CD3345P1-l (chinese language - SNS-2CD3345P1-I20181020AACH223662091). It is currently running firmware V5.5.31 build 180903

When i try to connect it to my Hikvision DS-7716N-E4 / 16P NVR (SNS-7716N-E4 / 16P1620160923AARR652332492WCVU) i am getting language mismatch error. I then tried to add it via ONVIF protocol but getting the same error.

I didn't expect this to be a road block as i thought the ONVIF protocol would work if HIKVISION protocol fails. However, both fails on me now

I am wondering if there is anyway to get this working on my NVR?
Upgrading/downgrading the firmware on the camera?
Adding it via RTSP (i tried but it failed)

I found a link to the 3xx5 firmware.

Can anyone verify if it will work for my camera?

If the camera doesn't reject an attempted firmware update, you'd end up with a 'language mismatch' on the camera itself.

That should work OK, given the correct RTSP path.
USE ONVIF Device Manager (sourceforge.net) to see the RTSP URL at the bottom of the Live Video page.
Use the section after the :<port> and including the /
