Hikvision camera recordings cut off halfway

Hi all,

Many of my Hikvision camera recordings DS-2CD2347G2P-LSU/SL cut halfway through a recording. I have many of these cameras at different locations and all appear to be doing this.

I have tried different settings like high sensitivity, different image adjustments, but it's still cutting off recording when it object is still clearly in the image and motion should still be triggered. I even have post recording at 1 minutes, but it still stops way before that as you can see in the attached video.

Are you recording on Event only or also Full time recording?

Event only recording frequently does that, always recommend recording Full time + Events

When you say full-time recording are you referring to continuous recording blue color?

Some cameras are set to event recording, the red color, and some are on motion, green color.

I noticed if I record on continuous recording blue color, then I have no idea where there might be triggers, meaning what time someone or something triggered the camera, so it becomes useless to be able to see if anyone stepped in front of the cameras at a certain point. Or maybe I'm not aware of some settings that will mark triggers even in continuous recording, blue color?

I;m not an HiK guy so forgive me, but yes Continuous

I run every camera Continuous AND Events. (IVS etc) - BOTH

This way you get the continuous timeline with hash marks noting events

I don't see options to have continuous and events, see images, and the timeline has no hash marks at all.

Any Hikvision experts out there that can help or confirm this?
