There is a learning curve, especially on IP camera's and the vernacular that goes with it. It's a deep rabbit hole.
I haven't fond the bottom yet but I've stopped digging for now.
Yeah, my Nightowl DVR is what caused me to search Google, and I wound up here. These crazy bastards let me join. ( a decision they may regret) LOL...
Actually learned the " vocabulary" of the basics, and was free to to take my semi-ignorant self to Amazon reading gazillions of Amazon reviews, and then buying a PTZ from Jidetech.
Which taught me that cheapo User Interfaces can be extreme bullshit.
