Hi folks, just got a decent Dahua IP CCTV system and am in need of help as I'm a little stumped.

Hello folks, as the title says I've got some new toys to play with and am a little stumped with advanced operations and settings. But I have some PC and networking experience under my belt, so I'm not completely clueless.

NVR is a Dahua NVR5416 16P-4KS2E.

Cams are Dahua IPC-HDW4231EM-ASE.

So I need information on the maximum bitrate per channel and how to access advanced configuration so that I can tweak the best out of everything.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Like one thing that I have noticed is that the NVR seems to have a limit of 168 Mbps mentioned with 1 camera installed, and at 1080p 25 fps and sound at default I'm almost using this all.

Is this value per channel?
