The time is past due for me to replace my Ubiquiti Edgerouter POE-5 (running guykuo's guide to isolate the surveillance networks) which is beyond EOL. I do not have a need for POE from the router but I do want to keep a similar setup to what I am currently running. I presently have a 200/200 connection with my ISP and the option to go as high as 2.5 over copper, if I choose to in the future (I have little to no need in the immediate future to go beyond my current connection speed). Currently looking at the Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Max and planning to make this purchase before it goes off sale tomorrow. Does anyone see any reason not to go this with this particular unit? If I am missing any particular information to help provide constructive feedback, please ask. I am pretty tied into the UI product line and intend to stay with it for my replacement so this is more of a product selection question than it is brand selection question.

I bought this as it's got everything I need until I expire:

The bonus is, I will not need the 512GB Nvme it comes with, and it can be removed and used in a new BI machine to run 6.0.
