Help on mounting turret outside under soffits - Confusion on how.

Evening all, I bought some Turrets of my home and having some confusion on how I am going to mount them. I'm planning to put them under the soffits but not sure technically how I get the ethernet cable there. Do I need a junction box? If so, the boxes I saw for the Turret have the port on the side, I was hoping not to have any wires exposed and run them from the attic straight through the soffit to the camera. BUT when I check to see on mounting it without the junction box to the soffit it doesn't seem like I can wrap the wire inside the housing. I'm sure a professional installer would know, hoping for some info/help with that or pics.

the boxes have gang holes on the side and bottom usually, that way you can use it either way.

many just cut a hole large enough to fit the pigtail through, if in the future you remove the cameras just install a vent where you drilled the hole or simply patch it back up.
