Hello everyone. I new here. Not sure why I just signed up now (oh wait I do, I'll get to that in a minute) and not long before. I was a long time BlueIris users. Maybe 8 or 9 years. I have 20 cameras, mostly a mixture of Reolink, Amcrest, and some early Foscam. Only 14 moved to frigate as I am going to replace the other 6.

I've recently moved to Frigate. 0.17 came out right as I was moving so I jumped right to that. No issues so far. Was easy enough to setup. It has been running for about 10 days

I have Frigate running in a Proxmox LXC. My proxmox host is a

AMD EPYC 7742 64 Core / 128 Thread
256GB DDR4 2666 Mhz
24TB of fast NVME storage
96TB of slow spinning disk storage, zfs
Intel Arc 310

LXC Hardware (passed to LXC)
8 CPU Cores
8192GB memory
Intel Arc 310
2 TB NVME Storage
36 GB slow spinning disk storage

I have Frigate setup with mergerfs so all of my videos are written to the fast NVME storage but moved to the slow spinning disk storage for 45 day retention. No issues other than I expected it to have a larger load on my GPU than it currently is. I also don't know what good looks like.

I'm using the "yolov9-s-320" model.

I came here to learn more about better cameras. I just ordered my first EmpireTech camera after read you guys talking about them for years. So many choices and I am not a camera expert so I decided to test this one out.

Welcome @whoismoses

Good pick on the better camera, a great one to learn more on and use in the most critical spot you need a good focus on to get enough pixels on target
