Long time lurker, first-time poster!

For the past 9 years, I've been working in security and had the pleasure to install various camera brands, Mobotix, Vivotek, Geovision, Geutebruck and so on. Lately my "to go" brand is Hikvision, due to price/performance. I also install alarm systems, (mostly DSC, Ademco & Paradox), so I don't mind helping if anyone has some problems in that field.

Reason for registration is LPR, so expect a post there soon™

i have some mobotix cameras i get a ton of false alarms using the activity sensor out doors mostly caused by the sun and clouds i have tried multiple scenarios with activity sensor and VMD windows even with the meta events im all out of ideas any input?

Me too for the price the camera cost the false alarms should be extremely lower any update on this ?

Use a PC with Blue Iris for recording, then use Blue Iris built in zone crossing. Much more robust than in cam motion. Turn the motion off in the cam.

I did and blue iris is light any other motion detections software. Tried every scenario I could think of with crossing zones, sensitivity threshold, the reset option still no my luck.
