Hey guys was just wondering if i could get some help getting all of this up and running.

My friend recently purchased a house and it came with cameras pre-installed from the old owners who had it installed and setup for them.
He got a TP-Link NVR and wanted it work with his dahua cameras. The cameras are currently plugged into the switch and the switch and NVR are connected as well from the uplink ports. Attempting to add the cameras manually doesn't work and says "failed to find camera" whenever i tried a different combination of IP addresses and ports.

How do I go about manually adding the cameras or troubleshooting this? I was reading I may need to use the dahua configtools? He reset each camera back to default as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated or any walkthroughs people may have I can follow to help get him setup. Thank you!!

You will need to login to each Dahua camera and enable ONVIF.
Then connect the cameras as an ONVIF device to your 3rd party NVR.
