Hello everybody,
I would like to share a small project I developed for Axis cameras.
It is an ACAP application that allows you to stream directly from the camera to YouTube, without the need for an additional PC, server, or external streaming software.
The app runs directly on the camera using the AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP), which makes it possible to run custom applications on the device itself (edge processing). This means the camera can handle the streaming on its own and reduces the need for extra hardware or complex setups.
The application currently works on Axis cameras with the following processors:
