Firmware for IPC‑Color4K‑T180 now I have a non working camera; help!

tmxv4128, would you mind dropping the 230918 and the 240618 (general_ipc's) to my onedrive here: transfer

Also, did you upgrade your t180 with the General...251212 version?
Thanks
Just uploaded the files for you. Yes, I did upgrade to System Version 3.140.0000000.43.R Build Date:2025-12-12, and it is working well on both cameras.

Well, if I ever get this beast going again I'll probably just stick with the version I started with I guess. I wanted to update from my 231224 version because several of the releases mentioned IVS improvements, which is what I was after.
It is still extremely unstable. Sometimes I get it up long enough to update it but most of the time not. Even updating it with another .bin, it still doesn't survive a reboot afterward. I'm sick about this.
If you use IVS do you recall any improvements in that area? Thanks again for the uploads.

Yes, I use IVS on both of them and have never had an incident where either has been tripped by accident, and I have been using them for years. The only thing I dislike about the IVS on the T-180 is that it is most sensitive in the middle of the image. IVS on the sides will hardly ever set off a tripline or intrusion zone. However, this did improve greatly after I moved the IVS detection from the camera to the NVR. I know you have tried just about everything with your camera to get it working correctly, but just wondering... have you tested it with a different ethernet cable? Last year one of my cameras started acting up and it was an intermittent problem until I thought of swapping the cable out for another. Problem solved. I kicked myself for not having tried that sooner.

Yes, I did. I scoured through the threads here for similar issues and came across that suggestion related to a similar problem. It didn't like the new one either and I verified both cables working because I was able to make changes to my other Dahua cameras with no issues.
I am hoping Andy has some magic bullet to help but I haven't heard back from him. I hate to think I'm going to have to buy a replacement camera.

Sounds like you use a PC, so I am no hope there since I use a Macintosh, but last week I was having trouble accessing a camera to make changes, which had previously never happened before. I finally figured out that after updating the Mac to the newest Tahoe OS that it had somehow made changes to the built-in OS firewall. I turned the firewall off and then was able to access the camera again. After changing some settings (with config tool), I once again turned the firewall back on and all was good. So I understand how strange things can happen. Hope it is just a setting on something so you can get it up and running and won't have to replace it.

I am intrigued about using SSH to recover... is there any documentation on this I could try?
No public information on this sorry.

I have the following firmware for the T-180:
General_IPC-HX5(4)XXX-Taurus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V3.140.0000000.43.R.251212
DH_IPC-HX5(4)XXX-Taurus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V3.140.0000000.39.R.250718
General_IPC-HX5(4)XXX-Taurus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V3.140.0000000.22.R.240618
General_IPC-HX5(4)XXX-Taurus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V3.140.0000000.7.R.231224
EmpireTech_IPC-HX5(4)XXX-Taurus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V3.120.0000000.39.R.230918
General_IPC-HX5(4)XXX-Taurus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V3.120.0000000.21.R.230418
General_IPC-HX5(4)XXX-Taurus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V3.140.0000000.7.R.231224
You should not have a firmware version starting with 'DH_IPC-' for an OEM product.
