Could a truck load of drones be a reason to purchase "farmland" near american military basses? I know China seems to like American farmland near our military installations.....or im i just another conspiracy nut?

I have to say I think small fpv drones are a distraction for the arms industry. I don't think they're the real answer to warrfare. Every govn is making a great fanfare of them but forget they're being used by a nation that can't afford missiles or precision artillery. It would be far more efficient and quicker to hit a target using a missile than flying a drone into it especially as the occupants of vehicles often escape injury leaving combatants intact albeit vehicle less. Personally, I see small drones usage as spotter aircraft most suited to guiding in precision artillery or missile fire. As a weapon, they result in a slow and long pulled out war as we're seeing in Ukraine. It's far more efficient to hit a frontline with a bombing run or multi missle attack than taking it apart 1 soldier at a time with an fpv drone. Yes they're win on cost, but for a nation that can afford the cost of say a jam resistant glide bomb or an excaliber round, they're somewhat redundant and cumbersome in which case drones that can accurately measure / calculate the gps location of a target using eg an IR laser to measure the distance away rom it's own gps location is likely to prove far more useful. I think the future of drones really is as wingmen for aircraft and for reconnaissance.

The UK went with microwave drone jammers that damage the electronics inside the drones, not just block the signal. Personally I fear the Faraday cage, but....

Apparently that El Paso Airspace closure was due to Cartel drones coming across the border. There are a LOT of ramifications of that adaptation by cartels-- and I think it makes a US strike far more likely.
