Ebay might be undoing some rules, the cameras that I was looking to buy showed up yesterday in my email as unavailable but prior that it was completely scrubbed from existence
I would wager that the complaints from sellers are through the roof, especially when the policy infraction does not apply in most cases. Allowing AI to solely interpret policy is pretty poor implementation. But this is what happens when you try to use cheap labor who can barely speak and understand English. You end up getting little from the little investment.
I know this is an older thread, but I appealed back in September and they came back saying the following:
We reviewed your appeal of an action on your account. Upon further review, we’re unable to grant your appeal because the listings aren’t following our Electronic equipment policy. This product can’t be sold on eBay because the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has deemed it to pose an unacceptable risk to the national security of the United States or the security and safety of United States persons.
