I am sharing my neighbor's internet connection so I have forfeited the idea of having remote access to view my cameras due to having to ask my neighbor if I can open ports on his router. All my cams are outside and If someone did access them, they're not gonna see anything. So, I decided to try out the EASY4IP feature seeing it doesn't require routing ports. Surprisingly, It actually works great!
I'm still curious exactly how this system works though so I can get an idea of how secure or insecure it really is. Is it purely a p2p so there is a secure connection between the device you paired it with and the NVR? or are all devices and credentials stored in your EASY4IP account?
Anything else I should know about it??
