Door checker at 4 AM Monday. One would think that with a van marked as "Locksmith" with large letters would not be a prime target.

Dahua HFW-5242H-Z6E-MF (8-48 mm -- 1/1.8 -- 2 MP) B/W with IR.

Video from BI at 60 megs reduced to 2.9 megs with Shutter Encoder.

I had to park my truck in our driveway for a few years and saw 4 or 5 instances of door checkers, a couple of times in broad daylight.

We had door checkers go through the neighborhood last month. They rummaged through the vehicles, but didn’t steal anything. The cops said they were either looking for keys or garage door openers. They didn’t bother to check my vehicle since they saw my cameras pointed at them.

I don’t want victim shame my neighbors, but they should have locked their vehicle doors. I have an iOS automation to automagically lock my vehicle doors using the FordPass app JIC I forget.

Looked like he is doing the pee-pee dance LOL
It was warm last night at 20 F. But had been in the single digits and lower for most of the week. He did check most of the cars on the block then went across the street to check more.

Did not stop by our place as there is a lot of outside lighting that seems to, at this point, discourage such activities.
