Did Plate search change, or did BI change something, mine doesn’t work now.

Just noticed my plate search program has an error, not sure what went wrong. Did it change, or did something BI do that made it crash?

Which program are you using - there are several?

Did it correspond to an update?

Posting it in the program thread of the one you are using would likely have got a response.

I don’t think so. I have a backup computer also that seems to work fine. Both running the same version. I get an error that says. C Error, Buffer Overflow caught. Possible malformed input file. I guess I will wait for the month to turn over and see if the new month works okay. Unless you know what is going on. The program is called Plate Search. Is there another one out there that is better? Everything has been running good, so I don’t get out on this site very often.

No link, I got if from somebody on here. This computer is a Mac, so it’s not on my physical computer. I could probably move it over and attach it. Okay I did it I think. Didn’t find anybody’s name on it. Works good on my other unit still.

NOt sure I understood a question, so this is an app, that runs outside of Blue Iris, and it looks at your log files and can execute a search that shows the time, camera, and the license plate number that your LP camera recorded. I might have got it from the person who sold me the camera, it was a couple of years ago now. I tried to attach the file, I don’t know if it uploaded or not.
 
Trying again to download. It’s an exe file, that reads a .py file to do the search.

We're just trying to understand what application it is so that maybe we can help. I'd ask you take a screen shot and post it here, but for some reason the site isn't allowing users to add images to their posts right now.

So, I will have to continue this over on my Windows computer and figure how to install it. I assume it installs to the CodeProject system? Can my ALPR server be on my Windows machine?
