Is there going to be much of a performance difference if I buy a budget tablet like the ones from this list?

Or is it better to buy something middle ground like a Galaxy Tab?

Considering that a basic RasPi can do the job, I have no doubt that a basic tablet can do same job also considering that there are dedicated IP camera monitoring app on Android.
