We are currently IN Daylight Savings Time. Should we KEEP that instead of "Standard Time" or switch back to Standard time on November 3rd and lock the clocks on that?

If we adopt a permanent Standard Time, we will have MORNING light coming before 4am in South Dakota.

Daylight Savings Time all year! I don't give a :poop: if kids have to walk to school in the dark.

Either kids wait for the bus in the dark during morning hours, or come home in the dark at night. One or the other.

It's a waste of money, resources, and time. Plus, animals don't give two squats what the clock says, they want to go bathroom or get fed at the same time.

For me? I'd rather stay what it is right now, and 8 months out of the year. But at the end of the day, just keep it one damn time.

Do I think congress will finally pass something? Nope. They can't even do their jobs right now as it is.

Standard time makes more sense than Daylight Time. If you go to Daylight time all year, then the time zones in the US will be wonky compared to the other time zones from GMT.

Is it really that troublesome/expensive the way it is now? And if you get past those issues, there are advantages to the current system... I guess I'm a rare vote for just leave it the way it is... Or maybe I can't help myself and I just refuse to agree with anything Trump suggests! :)

I honestly don't know if Daylight Saving Time is a net win for humanity, or a net loss. Personally I wouldn't mind having it go away if only so computer software would behave a little more predictably during the second 1AM-2AM period that happens every first Sunday in November :)
