OK, so I have had these cameras for years, and they have always worked fine, but today I go to log into them, and the sub menus are all blank, not showing up. Anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it? It is more than one camera. I did try two different browsers, Firefox and Edge, same thing happening in both of them. If no one else is getting this... it MIGHT be my BitDefender antivirus which sometimes does totally stupid things, but I am not sure. Wanted to ask here in case it was a known issue. All the sub menus pull up this blank slim grey rectangle.

That is the older GUI that would definitely be more prone to browser.

User Internet Explorer, yeah we know but still available.

How to enable native Internet Explorer in Windows 10 and 11:
  • Open Notepad:
    • Copy then paste the single line of code below into Notepad:
    • CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application").Visible=true
    • Save as OpenIE.vbs
  • Make sure the the file name ends in .vbs not .txt, If it ends in .txt you must rename to .vbs
  • Create a shortcut to the above file and double-click it anytime you want native Internet Explorer.

might want to disable Bitdefender for a minute and try again. 1/2 my cameras are that GUI. I'm just running Windows Pretender with exclusions for Blue Iris. I use Chrome and Pale Moon 32.
Pale moon 32 mostly for the Newer GUI...they also have I.E. Tab as a Chrome or Edge add on.

I've seen it bunches of times

What I noticed was if I dont let the video player itself load completely on the first screen after login, typically the LIVE view, it will often do that.
If I'm patient and give it an extra 5-7 seconds to load then all goes well clicking around.

On various cameras it may work better with Edge in IE mode, or Pale Moon 32

OK, in my case, this was the issue. I was in a rush and didn't let the first page load, so I guess I messed it up temporarily, but it works fine today. Thanks for that tip! And thanks everyone else for the info on the IE and Pale Moon browser stuff if needed.
