Looking to the second hand market for a NVR as this is not an urgent need (2 cameras owned for years, and working fine standalone... one with SD card only).
But my goal is to leverage two functionalities :
I have the opportunity to buy this one:
Would it be possible ? What are the criteria to have a NVR with these functionalities. I guess it's related to the firmware ?
(4 channels is and will be more than enough for me, please let's avoid this aspect).

- TioC arming / desarming functionality
- this functionality available through API (called by my automation system / alarm system)
