Hello
I'd like to see feedback regarding the Blue Iris app installed on my Samsung S24 phone. Is it normal that I have to connect my camera to Blue Iris on my computer to be able to connect Blue Iris to my Samsung, otherwise there's no connection.
Thank you.
This sounds very similar to the issue you had back in June of this year when you asked:
"Hello, Could someone explain to me why, when my computer is on and Blue Iris is open, I go to my Android app and launch Blue Iris, everything works. However, when my computer is off, I can no longer connect to the app on my phone. My camera, an iSunba, is connected via Ethernet because it doesn't have Wi-Fi.
Thank you."
You do realize that before the app on your phone can connect to any camera that is streaming to Blue Iris the following must be true:
The computer that is the Blue Iris server must be powered ON.
Blue Iris must be installed on that server, activated, properly configured and ready to accept an incoming connection via your LAN.
The Blue Iris app on your phone must be properly configured to connect to your Blue Iris server via your LAN and/or WAN (Internet).
Any camera that you want to view on the Blue Iris app on your phone must be connected to the Blue Iris server on your LAN, properly configured AND viewable on that Blue Iris server.
Bonjour,
Merci.
