I have a bunch of Dahua cameras on my property and would like to keep with the brand.
I have a location that I was planning on putting a wireless access point but wifi is great without it and I would like to use the spot for a camera. The location is in garage and the issue is that it is between some garage door rails (the space between the two bay garage door and single bay garage door). I need to come down 2 feet or so to get below the rails so that the camera is still functional even with the garage door up. The cat6 location is also fairly close to the where the garage door closes and so I need a very wide lens to try to catch the garage door as well as the depth of the garage. I can get specific measurements if it helps. The ceiling is drywall.
Can the friends here recommend:
1. Dahua camera model that has some type of wide lens (to catch wide area that is close by)
2. Dahua camera compatible neck (down rod of sorts) that will mount to the ceiling and get it so that the camera itself is dropped down from the ceiling 2 feet. I would rather get something known to work rather than get a laundry list of small items from Home Depot to get it to work. If it matters I do have a left over Dahua junction box PFA121 that I used for outside that would be nice to use but certainly don't have to unless it is the right part.
See examples below (prefer the first image where it is integrated look). The second image is some electrician pipe that fits a square casing, etc (probably stuff from home depot to atleast get it down the ceiling)
