I've run into several issue and now I'm left with a program that automatically closes after a few second. Also, 2 of my Dahua cams have stopped working and I can't troubleshoot unless I can get v6 to stay running. Also, i saw no medntion of the $9.99 I need to pay according to Google AI. I've opened a ticket with BI but was wondering if anyone else is having problems with it.

TIA

I have no idea what the $9.99 is, I have been using BI v5 & v6 now and it is not something I have any knowledge of, you do realize that Google AI can make mistakes based upon inaccurate information sources.

I am not sure if your problem with the Dahua cameras is due to BI not running but they do have a web interface are you able to login to the cameras, perhaps you can clarify what the camera problem is if it is separate from BI.

Did you have BI 6 previous running and it has suddenly stopped or was this and upgrade from v5, a few more details would help with providing some suggestions.

@Sparkey This is one of several reasons why I always uninstall Blue Iris 5 prior to installing Blue Iris 6. Regarding the $9.99, that's the price of the Blue Iris mobile app on both the Google Play and the iOS app stores. But you don't need the mobile app to use Blue Iris—these days the UI3 web interface works nicely even on mobile.

The reason I didn't uninstall BI5 first is I wanted to make sure v6 worked. I didn't want to be without my cams. I still haven't uninstalled it but I will in a couple of days, having run into problems initially I still a little gun shy.
I will give kudos to BI tech support, they've always been prompt and helpful. I've had the mobile app as long as I've had BI. AI didn't say it was for the mobile app so I assumed it was an accessorial charge of some kind. I've never used UI3 in my iPhone browser, I'll have to give it a try, thanks.

I did two install upgrades of BI 5 to BI 6 and never had any issue with the BI 6 upgrade not replacing or turning off the old BI 5 service!

Yeah, not that many.

edit—Not going to dignify your response below with another reply: The experiences of others are not "opinions". You have an opinion that since you had a flawless experience twice that no issues exist. This existence of this thread is proof otherwise.
