have at least 3 cameras that white out when in night mode and the ir lights come on? I tried cleaning the dome but that made no difference at all soI am thinking there it must have to do with the dome itself even if it looks perfect. I saw an old post where they changed the dome but that was 5 years ago.

the 2 worse ones are a DS-2CD2732F-IS and a NSC-278-DMZF1 should I try to fix them or just wait for Andy's sale?

Can you show a sample pic?

How about settings?

Could be the ring has jarred loose and you're seeing IR reflection, or could be a setting issue

Yeah if they’re domes it sure could be IR leakage/reflection

On some domes There’s a foam ring that mates to the dome that if isn’t seated right allows IR to bleed and reflect back off the dome

Worth a look.

the foam is kinda flat, I wonder where I can buy the rings and if anyone sells them as they are a wear item due to the foam collapsing over time

On some of the cams I've come across... the ring slides up and down on the lens end.
