I've been using the built in AI of my cameras (mostly 5442) with alerts sent to Blue Iris via onvif, then had CPAI verify these and send pushover alerts for verified motion from people and vehicles. This has worked great for many years, but I would like to now be alerted to small animals such as dogs, cats, raccoons, etc. Seeing as how the camera's AI only alerts for people and vehicles, I was wondering how others are doing it.
For the cameras that I want to identify critters on, should I disable the camera's AI and use smart motion detection, or disable all camera detection and let Blue Iris do it and send it through the built in AI of version 6?
